About Xpu-ha Palace Resort

When you arrive at the Xpu-ha Palace Wyndham Resort  you’ll love the grand entrance!  Guests enter into a large dramatic open-air reception area and then follow the property through an open-air zoo onto a fabulous six-story palapa with a giant tiled mosaic depiction of the Mayan calendar on the lobby floor and a magnificent serpentine light highlighting the center of the palapa.   From the main lobby palapa, paths will lead you to the pools, restaurants and then off in all directions to the bungalow rooms.

The wonderfully unique Xpu-ha Palace Wyndham Resort features all new facilities and amenities including a new swimming pool with swim-up bar, a kid’s club/waterpark and kiddie pool, a gym, 8 spa treatment rooms (4 are located in two pool view palapas!), two a la carte restaurants, one open-air grill and three bars.  The all-inclusive Xpu-ha Palace Wyndham Grand Resort  is spread out along a vast expanse of ecological park property, and golf cart ‘trains’ ran continuously for your convenience; bicycles are also available.  Various eco-excursions and workshops are offered as well as a gym, spa services, and a beauty salon.  You’ll also find an animal treatment and rescue program on the premises.  Guided snorkelling and kayaking excursions in the on-property estuaries are available.

Xpu-ha Palace is located 60 minutes from Cancun’s International Airport and 90 minutes from downtown Cancun.

New Palace Beds! 

Palace Resorts is proud to give guests the ultimate in sleeping comfort with its new state-of-the-art double cushioned pillow top mattress.  Each spring mattress is equipped with specially designed coils that offer better edge-to-edge support.  So no matter where you sleep, you will sleep comfortably.   These beds also feature an extra layer of insulation and padding, giving them a softer feel than most mattresses.  And to top off these luxurious beds are high thread-count sheets and modern decorative duvets, shams, bed scarves and skirts.  PLUS, all king and double beds will include five synthetic and goose down pillows to ensure the most restful sleep.

As a Palace Resorts guest, you can visit all of the other Palace Resorts hotels and enjoy the facilities and services including all restaurants, bars, activities and entertainment. 

Courtesy shuttle service is provided to Aventura Spa Palace (adults only), Playacar Palace Wyndham Grand Resort and the Moon Palace Golf & Spa Resort.  Transportation departs daily at 8:30 am.  Please note:  Guests of Aventura Spa Palace and Sun Palace must be at least 18 years of age.

Pet-friendly Resort

Maximum two pets per room.  1^st pet is free; 2^nd pet will be charged and additional US$50.  Pets must be under the supervision of their owners at all times and must wear an identification collar and leash when out of the room.  Pets are not allowed in restaurants, bars, pool area, estuary, cenotes, gym, deer exhibition area or aviary.   Small pets must be at least 5 mos. Old.  Maximum weight limit per pet:  55 lbs. Guest must present pet’s vaccination record at time of check-in with certification of complete physical examination by veterinarian.   Contact the hotel at least one month prior to arrival to discuss “Rules & Regulations” and any special needs.

• Pets will receive a welcome treat and water upon arrival
• Special bedding and two bowls will be provided in room
• Litter box, scooper and scratcher provided in rooms with cats
• Two meals provided to each pet daily  (Guests coordinate the schedule of food delivery directly with pet services)
• Green areas designated for sanitary use provided
• Pets and owners enjoy the supervised Pet Club from 9 am to 5 pm
• A relaxing grooming session (15-20 mins.) provided once at the end of pet’s stay (subject to availability)

Additional services are available for an extra charge:  Grooming services; shampoo and massage; veterinary services; pet sitter services; and gift shop with wide selection of toys, gifts and souvenirs, snacks and treats.
