SPAzul is a world-class eco-holistic Mayan-inspired full-service spa facility featuring a full array of treatments for men and women.  You will find facials, rejuvenating body treatments and therapeutic massages as well as beauty salon services.  The spectacular hydro-facilities include whirlpools, cold plunge pools, outdoor rain showers and a Polish massage shower plus the wonderfully peaceful Temazcal spa courtyard.

SPAzul features 6 treatment rooms, 2 hot tubs/whirlpools, sauna and a steam room.

The elegant spa is divided into men’s and women’s areas, with the individual lockers, robes and sandals provided.  While lounging in our comfortable relaxation areas, SPAzul  guests will enjoy refreshing tropical fruits and invigorating energy drinks.

SPAzul treatments incorporation the SAAS Spa philosophy which uses the essence of ancient Mayan rituals as the foundation for healing and wellness.  Combining Saas Spa practices and modern techniques, our elegant Spa sanctuary focuses on rebalancing the energies of the body, mind and spirit through Mayan-inspired treatments, meditation, diet and yoga.

When the bride and groom stay 5 nights or longer in a Master or Presidential suite or 20 ocean view guests suites with a minimum of 5 nights at a participating Real Resort, the wedding package is complimentary.

The Mayan Ceremony:

The Mayan Ceremony is spiritual, interactive and in harmony with nature, the universe and the four basic elements (Fire, Earth, Water and Air).  The Shaman will bless the union, setting an altar for the Mayan gods with flowers, fruit, seeds and fire.  The ceremony takes place on the beach.

Definition of Ceremony types:

Civil Ceremony:  a ceremony performed by an official judge from Mexico which is legal worldwide

Symbolic or Religious Ceremony:  ceremony performed by a non-denominational Christian Minister, that is not a legally recognized ceremony.  Couples choose this ceremony if they have been married in their home country.

Mayan Ceremony:  a spiritual pre-Hispanic wedding ritual that is practiced by the Mayan culture and dates back thousands of years.  This local and colourful marriage celebration is not a legally recognized ceremony.

The wedding couple is required to be in the hotel two business days prior to the wedding – excluding Sundays.
