Sheraton Bijao Beach Resort

Last Inspected: October 2012

Sheraton Bijao Beach Resort is one of the better all inclusive resorts on the beach in the Santa Clara area approximately 70 miles from the Tocumen Airport.  Enjoy long walks on the golden sand beach along side the Pacific Ocean.  Golf at a nearby 9-hole course. Relax by the pool. Put your wallet away, it’s all inclusive!

All 294 guest rooms have a balcony or terrace with a view of either the Pacific Ocean or the lush mountainside.  Rooms feature the plush Sheraton SweetSleeper Beds, comfy duvet, pillow menu, 32” LCD TV with cable, bathroom with hair dryer, desk, telephone, iron, ironing board, safe and coffee maker.  Rooms include bottled water.

I enjoyed my room with a view of the resort and beach.  I enjoyed it even more when I figured out which bank of elevators took me to my room section!

All Inclusive Resorts features:

Dining is a big part of your vacation experience and you’ll enjoy the food at Sheraton Bijao Beach Resort.  The morning buffet is especially good including a huge range of foods from fresh fruits, local food options and traditional American breakfast options - all with a view of the resort and ocean! In the evening, enjoy Mediterranean, Japanese and Grill options.

Food and drinks are included in your stay.  I didn’t find a huge selection of tropical cocktails at this resort but enough for me.

I loved the beach here - it’s long and wide.  Golden sand with glistening streaks of black volcanic sand.  I enjoyed sitting on the lounge chairs on the beach and long walks.  The ocean has an undertow here so I didn’t see anyone swimming.

All Inclusive Resorts Activities:

I didn’t see a lot of activities at this resort.  There is a nearby golf course which looked very nice.  There is a kids and teens club on site for the kids.

I stayed at this resort for a few days and while I did enjoy those two days it was enough for this one place. The nice thing about Panama is that you can do a driving loop and stay at a few different resorts and see the country or you can even do a tour that allows you to stay in two different areas easily.  I would not likely return to this resort for a longer stay or a week but for a few days, it was a good choice.
