Riu Palace Los Cabos Review
I have been to the Riu Palace Los Cabos twice – once before Riu Santa Fe was built and then just recently. The first thing I can say about this resort is location, location, location! The views from here are great – this resort offers you the view of the cruise ships as they come in, Los Arcos, the fishing boats going out in the morning and returning in the afternoon, the whales, dolphins and so much more!
In keeping with the Palace standards, food here is very good – lots of choices for food and drinks.
Décor is typical of the Riu Palace with dark wood and Spanish décor theme throughout.
Rooms are good. Junior suites offer a one-step-down separate sitting area. Beds are separate or pushed together in European style to form one larger one. Mini bar and liquor dispenser are included.
Technically all of these rooms are ocean view with some ocean front. Some are not necessarily sold as ocean view because there may be some obstruction such as gardens but each is a very good room location.
The Jacuzzi Suites with outdoor Jacuzzi are amazing if you want to spend some private time outdoors in the evening star gazing from your Jacuzzi! To get upstairs from your room you follow the winding wrought iron staircase up to the upper deck area so this is not for those who are afraid of heights! If you enjoy the best view possible day or night, this is for you!
