There’s so much to do at this resort. Riu Ocho Rios offers a fully-equipped gym/fitness

center, lighted hard-surface tennis courts, introductory scuba lesson in the pool, non-

motorized water sports such as windsurfing, snorkeling, kayaks and sailing all included

free in your all-inclusive price. Pacha disco is a place to end your night with friends and

party Jamaica style!

Let the kids join Riu kids club and participate in the great activities Riu offers under the

watchful eye of trained staff. Kids participate in beach fun activities, pool games, arts

and crafts and contests with other kids their own age. The resort also features a teens

club and games and arcade room so there’s something to keep every age group busy

and happy!

The resort offers entertainment every night but the real treat is the beach party and steel

drum band which is something unique to the Caribbean and you won’t want to miss.

Restaurants and bars at Riu Ocho Rios

All meals are included with your stay at Riu Resorts. Guests enjoy a large International

buffet restaurant where you can dine inside in air-conditioning or out on the terrace.

Mammee Bay restaurant offers buffet for breakfast and lunch and then is an a la carte

Steakhouse at night. Piccola Italia serves Italian food. Everyone loves the Jerk Hut by

the Beach for true Jamaican food. Sir Richard gourmet a la carte and Tushima gourmet

Japanese are both exclusive restaurants for the Deluxe Wing guests.

The swim up bar will likely become a favorite place to enjoy the Jamaican sun but there

are 6 other bars throughout the resort so you’re never far from a tropical drink. What’s

more is that beverages are served 24 hours.

Accommodations at Riu Ocho Rios

Riu Ocho Rios features 856 rooms on 6 floors; 2 pools and 8 restaurants. All rooms

include air conditioning, telephone, clock radio, cable TV and private balconies.

Complimentary WiFi is available at the pools and in the main lobby area. WiFi is also

available for a fee in rooms so you can stay connected with home.

There are two sections to Riu Ocho Rios. The Standard Wing is the family section and

features ocean view and ocean front rooms. Each of these rooms comes with one king

or two double beds, private balconies, a/c and ceiling fans, in-room safe, TV and

telephone. You’ll love the in-room liquor dispenser and stocked mini bar.

The Deluxe Wing is the adults-only section consisting of 371 Junior Suites, Suites and

Jacuzzi Suites all located close to the ocean. If you are traveling without children, this is

the section you’ll want to be in. Ocean View Suites and Jacuzzi Suites also enjoy

bathrobes supplied in the room. Free Wi-Fi in these suites as well as in the Deluxe

Wing Lobby round off the added amenities.

Besides adults only, rooms in this section include private check in, a private infinity

swimming pool with pool bar and swim-up bar, waiter service, games, magazines and

books offered on the pool deck.

Guests of the Deluxe Wing also enjoy 2 exclusive restaurants for dinner - the Tushima

Japanese Restaurant and the gourmet Sir Richard Restaurant.
