Rent a golf cart, moped, or bicycle, or take a taxi from the downtown and tour the island or explore the coastline. Don't miss the southern point where an ancient Mayan lighthouse dominates the cliffs and pounding seas and offers a breathtaking view of Cancun. The Point and surrounding grounds offer an ideal location for a picnic and/or photo opportunities. Isla Mujeres has maintained a laid back, relaxed way of life. Residents are very conscious of tradition.
