Nestled
between the Nichupté Lagoon and the crystal-clear
Caribbean Sea, lies Cancun’s oldest, most prestigious
golf club. Designed in 1976 by Robert Trent Jones,
Jr., Pok-ta-Pok Club de Golf Cancun artistically incorporates
hundreds of meters of dramatic shoreline and ancient
Mayan ruins into a truly enjoyable experience for golfers
of all abilities. This picturesque par 72 golf course
is 6,636 yards long.
Facilities include an 18-hole championship golf course,
driving range, a practice putting green, a well-stocked
pro shop which offers excellent rental equipment for
those who left their clubs or shoes at home, and a
restaurant / bar with panoramic views of the Nichupté Lagoon
and the Hotel Zone.
Location
The Pok-Ta-Pok Cancun Golf Club is located west of
Punta Cancun on the Hotel Zone. The course is split
in two with 9 holes located on Kukulcán Boulevard
along the hotel zone, and 9 holes located on a connected
island in the Nichupté Lagoon.
