Unique Springs and Pools Everywhere onsite!
When you stay as a guest of The Springs Resort & Spa you have access to 18 unique springs on the 4 acre property. There are 3 separate hot springs areas with temperatures ranging from 76 to 103 degrees. Types of pools range also – from raging waterfalls to tranquil forest areas you’ll find a perfect pool spot just to your liking. These springs have a high bicarbonate and high chlorides with relatively low sulpher content for a safe and healthy hot springs experience.
The hotel also offers a misting system and cold water showers around the edge of the hot water pools for guests to refresh themselves after soaking in the hot tub water.
The Springs Wildlife Preserve
Working with the Ministry of Environment and Energy, The Springs is home to a preserve for Costa Rican wildlife that has either been confiscated from poaches or donated by other preserves or individuals. Currently under their care are ocelots, margays, jaguarundis, Capuchin monkeys, Squirrel monkeys, sloths, scarlet macaws, wild turkeys and other animals.
