best time to travel to Cancun is between February
and April, unfortunately this is also Cancun’s

The winter months are also a great time for your

high temperature in the winter months is in the mid
80s °F, with the average low in the upper 60s °F.
The evenings can be cool so be sure to bring a light
jacket or sweater.
The Cancun water temperature consistently stays
around 76° F all year long.
Cancun Rainy Season
The Cancun area has rainy seasons. Although it is possible that it may
rain for a few days in a row, the rain usually last for a short period
of time. These short rains are actually incredibly refreshing as they
clear the air and the humidity drops. The afternoon or evening rains
are often followed by clear skies and sunshine and will likely enhance
your Cancun vacation experience. There are also numerous indoor activities
at the Palace Resorts to keep you busy, just in case it rains. Cancun Hurricane Season
As Cancun is in a tropical area, there is a chance of hurricanes and
tropical storms. The stormy season is from June to October with the
highest chance of hurricanes occurring between September and October.
Hurricanes do not hit the Cancun area every year.
