Hi Sharon,

We got back from our trip Thursday evening. I just wanted to let you
know that everything went off without a hitch and we had a wonderful
time. The resort was great as were the room and dinner at Chef's Plate.

In fact we did have one problem and that was leaving. I was ready to
stay another week! We are looking at returning next year and will want
to get prices on a 10 or 14 day stay. A week there just seemed too
short!

Thanks for all your help in making our anniversary vacation a wonderful
experience!

Hi Sharon, sorry it took so long to get back to you on this.  We really enjoyed the Royal Cancun.  The room was amazing and the service was great.  We did have a few stangs, the room that we were to get (we checked in on line)  was occupied, good this the bed was around the corner.  The room we ended up with was not the view we were expecting.  The spa was not up to our expectations, although the massage I received was great.  And the dinner with the chef, the menu was changed for the nite we went, but we were not aware of it at the time.  Our friend Penne can not eat anything spicy hot...so she was only able to eat one or two items that nite, but my husband and I enjoyed it immensly...the food through out the whole resort was 5 star if not better.  I was amazed at how beautiful the dishes looked and they tasted just as good.  We would go back.

Hi Sharon:

Sorry it has taken me so long to respond to your email.  Wanted to let you know that the hotel was very nice.  The beach was beautiful.   We had the corner suite up-grade.  The view was spectacular.  I have never slept in a better bed nor had such wonderful linens and pillows.  They were fantastic.  The food and restaurants were really wonderful.  The BIG disappointment for me was the spa.  I was uncomfortable that I could not lock and unlock my own locker; an attendant had to do that.  I get better “spa” manicures and pedicures locally.  I had an 80 minute massage in a room on the other side of the wall from the two pedicure chairs.  It was loud outside so the music in my room was loud.  I also did not get the free service that was to be along with the massage.  For the restaurants and the beach  I would re-visit I think.  I loved the spas at the Aventura Palace and the Moon Palace ( once the Moon Palace built the new one, I should say).  We only had one day of bad weather which was great.  I absolutely love the all-inclusive concept.  This was our sixth resort vacation of this kind and I am SURE it will not be the last.  We thank you very much!!!
