Now this is a big topic….what are the best Family All Inclusive Resorts in Cancun? If you’re not on a restricted budget, Beaches Turks & Caicos tops my list but for many of us, Turks & Caicos is just too hard to get to and maybe a bit over this year’s budget. There are other options…
I still believe Mexico offers the best value for families because of the larger number of all inclusive resorts of all price ranges.
Here Are Some Of My Favorite Family All Inclusive Resorts In Cancun Who Are All Around The Hotel Zone And Why I Like Them
Crown Paradise Club is a family all inclusive resort in Cancun which offers a large family section as well as their Club or adult only tower.
With a good beach location, 617 rooms, 7 bars, 7 restaurants and great family activities, it's a very popular budget priced resort.
I think Crown Paradise Club offers one of the best value all inclusive vacations and family all inclusive resorts in Cancun. It’s located on a great stretch of beach, has all ocean view rooms, offers a number of dining options and has an adult only tower for anyone traveling without kids.
One of the best features are their family rooms which hold up to 7 people - very few resorts have an option like that!
All rooms allow 2 adults & 3 children (under 12 years).
Standard Plus Rooms have 1 king bed and triple bunk beds along with a restocked mini bar (no liquor).
Hard Rock Cancun (formerly Cancun Palace) is located centrally in Cancun on a great part of the beach and a quick bus ride from everything. This all inclusive resort offers likely the best all inclusive package in Cancun with the glitz of the Hard Rock Hotels image.
This is a high-rise resort with 601 rooms, 6 restaurants, tons of bars, 24 hour room service, the new Rock Spa and the Hard Rock $1800/room Limitless Resort Credit!
If you like action, a great beach, modern hotel and of course, music, Hard Rock Cancun may just be a good fit for your family vacation. It’s not quiet, laid back or relaxing but it will be fun.
It will also remind you a bit of Las Vegas! Sometimes I think it’s out of place in Mexico but it grows on you! It is fun – and lots of it! Just checking out the lobby bar or being a part of a great concert and I’m sold!
Teens have a wonderful time here because they love the energy of the resort.
If you want to keep the kids entertained and they love music and beach, you should stay at Hard Rock Cancun.
Beach Palace is part of the Palace Resorts family of all inclusive resorts in Cancun. Beach Palace is a high-rise resort which was completely re-built so it’s modern and new and very compact.
With 287 rooms, 4 restaurants and 5 bars you'll love this resort - it's big enough to have all that you need and small enough to be intimate. Extra bonus is the Palace Resorts $1500/room resort credit to use on room upgrades, select tours, spa services and more.
Beach Palace has always been known as a family-friendly resort and many people go there year after year. I don’t know that it has the best family program around but it has a great feeling to it.
This is a very warm and welcoming resort with great staff, beautiful rooms and a nice roof-top secret: the Roof-Top Bar & Jacuzzis (maybe not a real family attraction but you’ll love it)!
Beach Palace is also located really close to La Isla Mall so it's within walking distance of some shopping when you really need a break from that beautiful beach!
This is one of my favorite Palace Resorts hotels because of the size. Beach Palace also offers the $1500/room resort credit promotio
Other Notable Family All Inclusive Resorts on the Cancun Hotel Zone:For quieter waves and a calmer ocean: Riu Palace Las Americas.
I prefer this resort to the newer Riu Palace Peninsula simply because of the décor.
I prefer the traditional Spanish look of Las Americas over the modern colors of Peninsula.
People love the quieter, calmer ocean near the Riu resorts for children.
For the most economical family rooms: Great Parnassus.
This family all inclusive resort in Cancun has the largest number of and the least expensive family rooms of any resort that I know of.
It also provides loads of activities for children and is on a great stretch of beach.
For one of the best first impressions: Iberostar Cancun.
Iberostar Cancun has one of the nicest stretches of beach on the Cancun Hotel Zone. I think this is the widest and yet quietest part of the beach.
Besides that, the kids water park is central and very nice and the Star kids program is always well received by the kids.
Add to that very luxurious looking lobby, great restaurants and nice rooms and it’s a great resort.
Likely the biggest downside is that it’s far south so it requires a bus ride to do anything and secondly, not all rooms have balconies. Entry level rooms just have a terrace so if you want a balcony be sure to upgrade your room at booking.
Note: I love this hotel – it just isn’t the top of the heap for family resorts and kids.
I think it is a fabulous all inclusive resort for a couple or groups of friends in Cancun.
For the best resort activities: Club Med Cancun.
Club Med Cancun just never seems to top the list of all inclusive resorts for American guests but it’s extremely popular for Canadians and Europeans.
You will have a hard time finding an all inclusive resort with this vast selection of activities – the best beach snorkeling in all of Cancun, trapeze, water skiing, wakeboarding, sailboats, wind surfing, tennis, volleyball, basketball and more.
Child care is available for all age groups.
The staff, lovingly called GOs will be the most attentive staff you’ll ever experience.
The rooms are basic and somewhat European in style and it’s not a hotbed of night time activities but I did love this all inclusive resort.
