I visited this resort on November 15, 2012 and I loved it. There’s a lot of natural jungle in and around the resort. The resort is built IN the jungle so everywhere you walk, you’ll walk through jungle. Kids love it! There are walking paths, bike paths, water park, kids club, cenotes and it’s own Mayan Ruins! The Xcalacoco experience at the resort is one of the most unique experiences I have ever heard of. It brings the Mayan culture right to the resort - be sure to ask about it and don’t miss it!
I think this is a great moderate priced resort. The family room accommodations are great and central to everything. The adults only rooms are also wonderful - very modern and tastefully decorated. This would be an excellent destination wedding resort because there’s lots of rooms in different categories so something for everyone!
