All-Inclusive Resort Review - Club Med, Sandpiper Bay, Florida Part 3

It’s all about the children!

All-inclusive Club Med Sandpiper Bay is a very family oriented all inclusive.  Club Med is a French company so these resorts attract quite a large following of international vacationers, French Canadian guests as well as local USA people looking for a high quality all-inclusive resort without needing a passport!

This is an amazing resort for families - whether your children are very young or older, they’ll find lots to do at Club Med.

If you are a couple or singles looking for a fun time with tons of drinking and nightclubs, this may not be the best all-inclusive choice for you. You won’t find a ton of drinking anywhere on the resort.  There’s no swim up bar and actually no emphasis on drinking or bars.  And you will be eating your meals with children.  The resort is full of them even in the indoor bar area where there’s activity GOs to entertain kids while mom and dad relax a bit.

Back to the activities for children - it’s pretty amazing!  Club Med is known for it’s children’s programs and now I know why!

It all starts with the Baby Club Med for children from 4 to 23 months. These little ones are split into two groups - the Starfish (non-walkers) and the Minnows (walkers).  From 8:45 am to 5 pm you can have your little ones under the care of trained Club Med GOs. The cost for this age group is $85 per day.  Half days are also possible. Closed Wednesdays.

The next group is the Petit Club Med group which are 2 and 3 year old children.  Trained GOs will play and keep the kids active until they’re ready to relax and nap!  Offered from 8:45 am to 5 pm at a cost of $85 per day.  Half days are possible. Closed Wednesdays.

Mini Club Med is for kids ages 4-7 and 8-10 years and the trained GO’s have so much in store for your kids that they’ll be happy to be busy all day!  From Circus to Trapeze to Sailing and pool time there’s never a dull moment.  Closed Wednesdays.

For the older kids age 11-17 there’s the Latitude 27 Club.  Open from 10 am to 5 pm and then again from 7 to 11 pm.  Kids are able to come and go as they please and partake in the activities as they choose.

Pajama Club is available for children from 4 months to 7 years old from 7 pm to 1 am.  The cost is $28 per child for the full evening.  This is an amazing opportunity for the kids to spend a quiet evening and be able to sleep while mom and dad enjoy some time alone together.  Food isn’t served so have the kids eat before they come.

The most amazing activity for kids is the trapeze instruction and time they have available to them.  Almost every day kids have the ability to learn and practice on the trapeze with trained instructors.  Add to that circus fun indoors and you'll create lifetime memories for your entire family.  Tennis, golf, soccer, circus, trapeze, pools, sailing, water-skiing, paddle boards, kids club organized activities and so much more!  This could be the trip of a lifetime so close to home!
